Over 100 chemicals and chemotherapy drugs tested

Independent labs have tested Nitra-Touch™ gloves against over 100 chemicals, including cytotoxics and cytostatics, alcohols, acids, bases and organic solvents. The resistance to permeation by chemicals is measured by means of the ‘breakthrough time’, defined in the European harmonised standards EN374. The higher the time, the higher the level (on a scale from 0 to 6)

The Ansell Cytostatic Permeation Program (ACPP)

In order to ensure your maximum protection when handling cytostatics, Ansell has invested in a totally new permeation assessment protocol. Because gloves are made to be used under dynamic physical conditions (stretching, tension, rubbing etc.) we thought at Ansell that it was our duty to test some of our products for cytostatic permeation under the same constraints.
